Our Commitment
Nihon Tips is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Measures We Take
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
- Skip links: A “Skip to content” link allows bypassing repetitive navigation
- Semantic HTML: Proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions throughout
- Alt text: Meaningful descriptions for all informative images
- Color contrast: Text meets WCAG AA contrast requirements
- Focus indicators: Visible focus states for all interactive elements
- Responsive design: Content adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some content may have limitations:
- Interactive simulations may have reduced functionality for screen reader users
- Some older images may lack detailed descriptions
- Third-party embedded content may not meet all accessibility standards
We are actively working to address these limitations.
